Laguna Coast Wilderness Park

From a trip to Laguna Coast Wilderness Park in late March 2011. Many of the plants there were in bloom as we hiked through, so our hike was very slow :)

Dodder (Cuscuta) growing on an unknown plant in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. Dodder is a parasitic plant that doesn't create chlorophyll; it gets all of its energy and nutrients from the plants it parasitizes.
